Charleston has been consistently named as one of the top ten travel destinations in North America by Conde Nast.   Premiere attractions, golf, plantations and gardens, historical sites, beautiful beaches and superior restaurants give this destination universal appeal.

The hotel offers transportation (a quick 10 minute trip) to the downtown area via our 11-passenger hotel shuttle, which brings guests to the U.S. Customs House located at the intersection of South Market Street and East Bay Street.Guests may stay in this area to dine and shop or elect to take a “DASH” trolley to the historic market or the aquarium and waterfront area.  For group travel to the downtown area, we would be delighted to assist you with your off-site activities.

Walking tours, carriage tours and motorized tours are available and some focus on special interests such as African-American history, Jewish history, architecture and ghost stories. Boat tours and harbor tours are also available, along with nature tours by boat, foot or on horseback.

For the outdoor enthusiast, the Charleston area offers a variety of activities including running, biking, golfing, kayaking, fishing, boating or simply relaxing on one of our beautiful beaches.

How do you get to win your National Trip?
Licensees have different ways of qualifying their teams to win the National Trip.  The most popular method is to hold a tournament of all qualified teams from Summer, Fall from the previous year and Spring of that current year. Qualified teams are winners of a session in that time period. For example, if your team places in the top 3 for all 3 sessions your team has 3 chances at the tournament, 1 for each session.

Winners of those tournaments win the trip to Nationals.  Check with your licensee/operator to see how many teams they send and how you qualify for the National Trip in their territory.  The suggested per diem is for every 18 teams a licensee/operator has 1 team can win a trip to Nationals. However, TAP is a very flexible national organization and we realize what works in one part of the country or Canada might not work in another area so titleholder and national formats to qualify teams may vary.

Where is the National Trip?
TAP has a beautiful traveling National event.  Here are some of the host Cities for our Nationals Tournament:  Orlando, FL; Myrtle Beach, SC; Louisville, KY; New Orleans, LA; Las Vegas, NV. Future stops will be posted on this page, with potential stops in the Midwest. Family discounts are worked out at each location for fun, food and entertainment.  At TAP, we go places.
